Archos Tablet – An Overview

ARCHOS is a French consumer electronics company that was established in 1988. They manufacture a variety of portable media players, data storage devices and of course a variety of Windows and Androis based tablet computers.

Long before anyone ever heard of an iPad, Archos was producing some very well designed touchscreen devices. The company has developed an impressive line of Android tablets that range from a 2.8 inch iPod sized device, all the way up to devices with 10+ inch displays.

Currently, the the Archos 101 is the top-of-the-line Archos Tablet. This unit currently sells for less than $300.00 US. This places them amongst some of the cheapest 10″ tablets available today.

The ARCHOS 101 is also the thinnest and lightest 10-inch tablet on the market that features a capacitive touch display. The Archos Tablet offer a range of impressive features such as Wi-Fi, HDMI output, front-facing camera and 1200×800 pixel display. Given their impressive features, they certainly should be considered if you are in the market for a tablet.
